Dan Lindsay

Dan’s high standards began at a very early age. At the age of 10, Dan was responsible for cleaning the house, cooking dinner, and completing his 6 day a week newspaper route. Dan’s mother was very picky and instilled very high standards by inspecting Dan’s chores daily. Dan consistently met those standards and by the age of 15 began working weekends and summers with his mother as a cleaner for commercial and residential properties. Dan’s mother is still a Property Manager today and is currently working on the Island in BC.
Dan has been a professional in the commercial cleaning business for a near decade and still today maintains a very high standard in all aspects of his career. As a Resident Manager for a 1.5 million square foot office building, Dan started his professional career on the front lines of this business gaining his operational expertise. Since, Dan has taken on Business Development roles building a solid reputation with clients and associates across Western Canada. Prior to joining Servpro, Dan was the General Manager for a national janitorial consulting firm that specialized in Daylight Cleaning. In his consulting role, he gained the experience and knowledge of the janitorial business from a client and contractors perspective.
Dan was recently married and has since started his new family with a beautiful baby girl in 2011. As with what was passed down to him, Dan will pass down to his kids setting even higher standards for the upcoming Lindsay generation. In his spare time Dan also serves as the Treasurer on the IFMA Executive Board of Directors and is a good standing member with BOMA.
In 2011 Dan obtained his CIMS Expert (I.C.E.) Certification and is now one of nine acting experts in the Alberta area. His goal is to have Servpro Cleaning (Calgary) Inc. CIMS and CIMS-GB Certified in 2012.
