Jeff Lucas
Vice President, Operations
After graduating
high school and completing a Marketing Degree in Ottawa, Jeff headed
west in January of 1980. He was hired by the Hertz Rent A Car organisation,
and began to develop his operational skills by taking over the City
Manager’s position in Edmonton. He also found great joy in becoming an
“Uncle At Large” for two brothers through a volunteering organization,
while also spending three years as Vice President and President of the
Edmonton Centre Progress Club.
After four years
as an Account Executive with Hertz, Jeff worked his way through the
ranks to City Manager of Toronto, handling the day to day operations of
nineteen locations, 3000 vehicles and over three hundred staff. This
promotion and move to Toronto, and his marriage to Carole Jensen, made
the next five years very exciting. During this time, Jeff and Carole
were blessed with three loving children: Erik, Grant and Emily.
Family
priorities took over in 1990 with a move back west and a fresh start for
Jeff in the Financial Industry. Five years of work with London Life
provided valuable family time; however, it did not satisfy the
achievement Jeff desired.
In 1995, Jeff
was hired by Servpro as a Sales Executive, and in a very short period of
time, managed both Sales and Accounts. By 1999, Jeff was a District
Manager of Operations, directing six Area Managers over a wide range of
janitorial operations.
From 1999-2006,
Jeff also worked with an organization previously known as Clean Calgary,
which developed into the non-profit organization it is today, Green
Calgary. Jeff was instrumental in Green Calgary’s transition to become a
company which help as many companies as possible turn Green.
Jeff is currently the Vice President of Operations at Servpro, and is enjoying its tremendous growth and development.
