Operations Supervisor

Reports to: Specialty Services Sales Executive
Job summary:
The Operations Supervisor for the Specialty Services Division is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all projects. This includes ensuring quality standards and job specifications are met, as well as 100% compliance with all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
Summary of essential job functions:
•Assist with planning, scheduling and budgeting
•Work within budget and seek ways to improve overall productivity
•Promote and maintain positive customer relationships
•Follow-up on work progress to ensure job completion
•Follow-up on issues to ensure correction
•Verify and submit accurate job documentation (hours worked, work orders, supply orders, etc.)
•Operate and train staff on power equipment, such as vacuums, buffers, auto scrubbers, etc.
•Ensure all tools, supplies and equipment are available to successfully complete jobs
•Ensure vehicles, equipment and supply inventory are maintained
•Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
•Contribute physical labour to fulfill job specifications as needed
•Ability to work flexible hours to meet job needs; be available for any shift or hours that are required to successfully complete projects
Qualifications Required:
•1-3 years janitorial operations experience, including floor maintenance and refinishing
Abilities and Skills Required for Success:
•Valid driver’s license in good standing
•Must pass background check requirements
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to operate janitorial power equipment (floor buffers, extractors, ride-on machinery, etc.)
•Some computer experience is required
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
