Servpro Fills in the Missing Piece for the Missing Children Society of Canada
Rhonda Morgan, Founder and Executive Director of the Missing Children Society of Canada and Fred Edwards, President and CEO of Servpro.Servpro, a long-term supporter of the Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC), has just announced its plans to become the host of the Missing Children Society of Canada Charity Golf Tournament for the next three years.
This year will be the fifth annual golf tournament and last year's even was a huge success, raising over $45,000 for the ongoing search for abducted and runaway children through the investigative program Project: Reunite.
Fred Edwards, president and CEO of Servpro says, "Servpro is very pleased to make a three-year commitment to such a valuable organization as the Missing Children Society."
This year's newly named Servpro Charity Golf Tournament, in support of the Missing Children Society of Canada, took place on August 2nd at the Heritage Pointe Golf Club.
Thanks to the players and sponsors the tournament was a huge success raising $60,000 for the society's investigative search program, Project: Reunite and the ongoing search for missing children. The event was a sell out with 144 golfers teeing off.
This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Missing Children Society of Canada. During this time, MCSC has helped police close over 5,100 cases and continues to help over 300 searching families each year.
