The Alberta Construction Safety Association is a non-profit organization funded and directed by industry. The Association consists of construction industry volunteers supported by a team of professionals based out of offices in Edmonton and in Calgary. All the people involved with the ACSA, from the origin of the idea to the present, share a common vision: through cooperative efforts of all those involved, the construction environment in Alberta will be the safest anywhere.

"BOMA" is an industry association that promotes the professional standards of commercial building ownership and property management. BOMA is incorporated as a not-for-profit entity under the Societies Act of Alberta. BOMA is a member-driven, committee-run, organization that is locally autonomous and independent. BOMA is affiliated with BOMA Canada, a body that represents the indust nationally, and is federated with BOMA International.

"Clean Calgary Association empowers Calgarians to create healthy homes and communities by providing environmental education, products and services." Jeff Lucas Vice President of Servpro Cleaning (Calgary) Inc. has been working with the Clean Calgary Association as a Director since 1999. Voted in as Vice President in 2003 and currently involved on the Board as President. Jeff has overseen an extensive transformation of Clean Calgary spearheaded by an energetic and enthusiastic staff. Jeff brings twenty years of operational experience, presently employed as providing insight from the private sector as to policy and direction of environmental issues from the cleaning industry.

"The primary missions of the Institute are to be the leading, independent, non-profit, certification and international Standard setting body within the cleaning, inspection, and restoration industry; to set and promote high ethical standards, and to advance communication, collaboration and technical proficiency. Further, the Instute acts as a central conduit in the exchange of information between all segments of the cleaning, inspection and restoration industries. The Instute cooperates with all segments of these industries in whatever prudent, legal, ethical and financial means reasonable, in order to enhance product quality, value and service to the consumer. In addition to the primary activities within these industries, the Institute pro-actively disseminates information to maintain industry-wide, productive, logical and fair recommendations for the protection of the consumer, industry workers and the environment. The Institute continues to promote the science of cleaning and restoration."

As the worldwide cleaning industry association, ISSA's global membership includes more than 5,500 distributor, manufacturer, building service contractor, and in-house service provider companies. ISSA offers the industry's largest cleaning shows around the world; a vast array of educational videos and resources; networking on local, national, and international levels; industry management standards; legislative and regulatory services; and industry news specifically focused on the world's cleaning community.

SAIT is Canada's Premier polytechnic providing relevant, skill-oriented eductaion which equips graduates to compete successfully in the changing world of work. Established in 1916, SAIT provides career training to more than 70,000 registrants by 1,900 faculty and staff with a budget of $215 million. SAIT offers four applied degrees, 60 diploma certificate programs, 32 apprenticeship programs and 2,100 continuing education and customized business and industry courses. Over the last five years, SAIT graduates have enjoyed employment rate of 97 percent. Graduates are in demand because SAIT programs are designed with employers in mind. More than 1,000 business professionals provide advice on 62 program advisory committees. At SAIT, students don't just learn about things, they learn how to do things.

The Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI) was established to assist residential cleaning service owners and professionals in starting, promoting, building and expanding their businesses. ARCSI is committed to providing valuable information to ensure the growth and development of our members' businesses. Our mission is to provide members with a network of knowledge and experience throughout the industry, whether you are a veteran business owner or starting a new cleaning business, buying an existing business, or purchasing a franchise. By forging these connections, members benefit from new perspectives while also helping to foster profitable growth in the industry. Having the resources of ARCSI available to you will make it easier to build your business, no matter what your business size or your business goals may be.

The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the search for abducted and runaway children. MCSC provides a comprehensive investigative program called Project: Reunite, free of charge, to assist police and searching parents in the active ongoing search for missing children. Mr. Fred Edwards, President and CEO of Servpro is on the Board of Directors for The Missing Children Society here in Calgary.
